DaGamba

If you are keen on not only hear, but also experience power of the music going through each and every single cell of your body, this performance by Dagamba, Chamber Orchestra Sinfonietta Riga & choir Juventus is a must-see. With irrefrangible seriousness in their faces they rocked the stage playing different genres of music in their own unique interpretation. This international group, consisting a Lithuanian pianist, two Latvian cellists, chamber orchestra and choir of sixty singers, accompanied by a guest percussionist from Iran and a French singer, presented a powerful sound on the stage and gave the whole festival a new taste. Bringing their nationalities together they provided a remarkable experience you can only truly feel live.

From the first composition till the very last end musically brilliant hooligans kept their positive vibe and encouraged the crowd to take part of their performance by clapping hands in a specific rhythm or singing some unusual tunes. Each and every one in the audience felt the towering atmosphere.

One of the most welcomed song interpretation by the audience was the band‘s dedication to Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant. The band‘s extremely powerful performance didn‘t leave anyone half-hearted and indirectly caused the crowd ask for more to the point they couldn‘t leave the stage even when the backstage crew signalized that there was no time left. Every listener left the event not only with a bright smile on their face, but also energetically powered by the force of this West and East refined music.
